Hundreds of people filled the Hilton London Hyde Park hotel Thursday as CEO Mike Azcue made one of his first European appearances at yesterday's special London Flagship Meeting. The packed crowd was visibly stirred when Mike spoke about his vision for WorldVentures and the opportunities this company provides people all over the world. * System Requirements: Customer Service Corner—Let TravelDollars Work for You! The WorldVentures Client Services team recently received a call from a Representative who was curious about his TravelDollars account. Well, we had some good news and some bad news… The good news was that he had earned TravelDollars, $400, to be exact. The bad news was that all $400 had expired and was no longer redeemable. This member could have purchased a five-day DreamTrips cruise to the Caribbean with his TravelDollars—what a loss!
First of all, like commission checks, TravelDollars are part of the compensation plan and are considered a form of payment. And, similar to a checking account, you must manage your TravelDollars and keep track of the credits and deductions that take place in your account. But, unlike the money in your checking account, or even a commission check, your TravelDollars do expire.
To better aid you, I've enlisted the help of Pat Winner from WorldVentures' Treasury Department. "Under 'TravelDollars Details,' it is very important that you generate your report for TravelDollars only," she says. "If your report includes Travel Points or Training Dollars, your report will be inaccurate. It's important to remember that our operations system makes assessments of your TravelDollars three times each weekly pay period, so the amounts earned, redeemed and expired may fluctuate during the week. Also, closely monitor your 'Available' amount and pay attention to the 'Date' column on the far left. If you don't redeem your TravelDollars within one year after the date posted for each credit, they will expire." For a more in-depth explanation about how TravelDollars accrue, refer to Section 7.3 of WorldVentures' compensation plan. And to find out how you can redeem your TravelDollars, read Appendix B in the compensation plan. Remember, though, you must have at least $200 in TravelDollars to redeem them.
