WorldVentures Gives BIG to Big Brothers, Big Sisters

WorldVentures, a Plano-based travel company, has formed a strong alliance with Big Brothers and Big Sisters (BBBS), and has made a sizable donation to the worthwhile organization. At a recent corporate event the company auctioned off among other things a basketball autographed by Dallas Mavericks' Jason Terry. Seven of the WorldVentures top earners combined bids to win the ball, raising $50,000 for BBBS, and by the time the event was over the company more than matched all of the funds raised and donated over $136,000 to the organization.

WorldVentures is a lifestyle company that markets travel-related products. Combining the power of the Internet with the time-tested strength of word-of-mouth marketing, the young three and a half-year-old company regularly “gives back” through several charitable organizations. WorldVentures is a privately held company based in Plano, TX, and an emerging leader in the leisure travel industry with active representatives and customers in all fifty states.

WorldVentures Director of Training, Marc Accetta and wife Kelly, have been mentors in the BBBS program in North Texas for years and their enthusiasm for the organization was contagious when they brought the idea to WorldVentures executives.
