- History
- Headquartered in Plano, TX (Dallas).
- Founded by Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue. The company is privately owned and operated and is debt-free.
- Launched December 10, 2005 in Las Vegas, NV at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.
- In fall 2008, moved into brand new 38,000 sq. ft. home offices, adjacent to EDS and neighbor to Dr. Pepper Snapple Group and Frito-Lay.
- WorldVentures was featured in the June 2007 edition of Your Business At Home, on newsstands nationwide. To date, over 250,000 copies have been sold.
- WorldVentures was featured in the May edition of Success From Home, from the publisher of SUCCESS magazine, on newsstands nationwide.
- Corporate Staff
- In May 2009 Co-Founder Mike Azcue was named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-Founder Wayne Nugent was named Chief Visionary Officer (CVO).
- In May 2009 Myron A. Wick, III was named Chairman of the Board for WorldVentures’ newly-formed Board of Directors. Mr. Wick was co-founder of CTC Media, a multi-billion dollar Russian-European television and broadcasting company, was appointed as an advisor to the Peace Corps of America by the President of the United States, and is co-founder and principal partner of McGettigan and Wick, a global investment banking firm.
- In May 2009 Jon McKillip was named Chief Operating Officer (COO) for WorldVentures.
- In May 2009 Eddie Head was named Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) for WorldVentures.
- Corporate staff has increased from 0 to over 165 employees in 3.5 years.
- Marketing
- In November 2007 we gave away a brand new 2008 Mercedes C-300 Sports Sedan.
- In March 2008 we gave away a brand new 2008 Porsche Cayman.
- In November 2008 we gave away a brand new 2009 Mercedes C-300 Sports Sedan.
- In March 2008 we launched a brand new Premium Service Program (PSP), featuring Video Email, a bi-monthly Voyager newsletter, enhanced back office functionality, and a subscription to SUCCESS Magazine.
- In April 2009 we added Closed Captioning to the marketing videos on our websites.
- In July 2009 we launched the Luxury DreamTrips product to cater to a more upscale clientele, with the amenities and white-glove service luxury travelers look for.

- Rovia, WorldVentures exclusive travel provider, is a fully licensed and bonded travel company with over 25 years of experience, specializing in leisure travel. With executive offices in Plano, TX and ticketing offices in Greenville, SC, Rovia offers a one-of-a-kind hybrid host agency opportunity for home-based travel professionals.
- Rovia's (WorldVentures exclusive travel provider): Carnival Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, GoGo Vacations, Apple Vacations, Funjet Vacations, Riu Hotels & Resorts, Melia Hotels & Resorts, MLT Vacations, Outrigger Resorts, Elite Island Resorts, and Barcelo Resorts.
- Rovia Director of DreamTrips, Grant Merz, Director of DreamTrips, sits on the Bahamian Tourism Board Advisory Council and the Funjet Vacations Advisory Board.
- Rovia received the Rising Star Award from Funjet Vacations and the Platinum Apple Award from Apple Vacations, two of the largest vacation wholesalers in the world.
- DreamTrips
- In 2006, our first year, we offered 15 DreamTrips (3 more than initially promised).
- Couples who attended all 15 trips in 2006 would have saved nearly $8,000.
- In 2007 we offered over 37 DreamTrips.
- In 2008 we offered 95 DreamTrips.
- In 2009 we offered over 259 DreamTrips.
- In 2010, we are once again forecasting well over 200 DreamTrips.
